About the Sales Team

The Sales is responsible for growing Adventus.io Client base for universities, students and recruitment agents.


The team is accountable for the development of the business sales growth strategy and its execution across Adventus.io. They deliver world-class experiences for recruiters and students considering studying in higher education while delivering undeniable value and experience for our partners.


About the Account Manager Role (12 month Fixed Term - Full time hours) based in Ho Chi Minh City

The Account Manager is responsible for achieving student enrolment goals for their portfolio of Channel Partners across all Adventus Partner Universities & Institutions to achieve outcomes. This role will manage depth relationships with Channel Partners, contributing to their sales strategy and team leadership. The role owns responsibility for the service experience and delivery of these Channel Partners. The role reports to the Regional Manager - Vietnam.


About the role

Through your relationship management skills you will develop an appropriate level of communication with the partners and internal team members to better understand and mitigate any issues they may face.

Responsibilities include :

  • Work cross functionally within the company to communicate with all stakeholders to success for Key Accounts
  • Create and maintain relationships with to better understand and achieve their needs
  • Make client visits to maintain relationships and identify opportunities for growth within our platform
  • Manage all reporting about the health of Key Accounts
  • Achieve agreed student enrolment targets and convert dormant Accounts for performance
  • Take owners hip of new accounts from the Regional Manager as requested
  • Manage the student pipeline which involves supervising the student progress,, identify inactive students for clearance and analyse trends for improvement, resolution and growth
  • Manage Recruiter portfolio and identify growth opportunities, risk profiles, the primary contact for all Key Recruitment Partners to generate sales and provide prompt and clear responses to maximise on opportunities


What you need to have to be successful:

  • Previous account management experience with a minimum of 3 years
  • 3 years + experience working within a sales and marketing capacity with exposure to an agency / indirect distribution model in recruitment of international students is required
  • Industry knowledge: understanding of the international student marketplace and the challenges within the industry is required
  • Ability to implement strategic and tactical plans for a portion of customers
  • Articulate and well accustomed to a client facing role
  • Willingness and ability to travel
  • Demonstrated abilities to achieve sales targets
  • Experience managing sales related projects within a marketplace
  • CRM experience
  • Time management skills

  • Analytical and quantitative skills
  • Results oriented with the ability to successfully deliver on sales, financial to achieve customer satisfaction
